Import of non-EU liquid fertilizers

Question

I would like to inquire about the requirements for placing non-EU liquid fertilizers on the Slovakian market. We are a company that produces liquid fertilizers in Germany, and these products are currently lawfully marketed in Germany, the Netherlands, and other European countries.
We are interested in understanding if it is necessary to apply for authorization for these products in the Slovak Republic before we can place them on the market. We are aware of Regulation (EC) No 764/2008, which emphasizes the principle of mutual recognition, allowing products lawfully marketed in one Member State to be sold in another Member State, even if they do not fully comply with the technical rules of the destination country. In this case, our products comply with the German national rules and regulations.
Based on the principle of mutual recognition, we believe that our products should be allowed to be marketed in Slovakia without the need for additional authorizations. However, we would appreciate clarification on the specific requirements and procedures for placing our non-EU liquid fertilizers on the Slovakian market.

Answer

In the case of fertilizers that are registered in an EU country, it is possible to apply for the inclusion of a fertilizer in the list of mutually recognized fertilizers under EU Regulation 764/2008.
If you would like to add fertilizer to the list of mutually recognized fertilizers, please fill the application.
In the attachment, I also send requests for the text part of the label in Slovak language.
It is in Slovak, the list of documents is given at the end of the application.
The fee is 35 euros per 1 fertilizer, the invoice is sent at the end of the process together with the confirmation.
The application must be accompanied by an EU registration.
